Agreement on Recommendation for Mutual Entry and Exit of Korean-Chinese Students

Due to the severity of the situation of Corona19, the Korean Ministry of Education, as well as the Chinese Ministry of Education have discussed the measures to protect international students in Korea, and decided to encourage the students to refrain from leaving the two countries.

<Agreement on Recommendation for Mutual Entry and Exit of Korean-Chinese Students>

The Korean Ministry of Education and the Chinese Ministry of Education agree to:

1. Protect the students’ health and safety first.

2. From now on, the Korean Ministry of Education recommends that Korean (Chinese) international students from Chinese (Korean) universities refrain from leaving China (Korea) until the situation is stabilized.

- So, Korean (Chinese) universities should encourage their Chinese (Korean) international students to refrain from entering Korea (China) until the situation with Corona 19 stabilizes.

3. We will make every effort to minimize the possible disadvantages for our students.
