About OIA
- Office of International Affairs is responsible for initiating and implementing international cooperation in academic programs between Chung-Ang University and the world's prestigious higher educational institutions.
- Exchange activities include mutual collaboration in research and in academic conferences and seminars as well as faculty-students reciprocal exchange programs. The center is developing and managing the following operations to enhance the university's international exchange activities.
- Office of International Affairs receives exchange students from its overseas partner universities, especially those who are interested in taking up international studies and in studying the Korean culture and language at Chung-Ang University. In addition to the exchange program, International Summer School and International Study Program, both conducted in English, are offered. For international exchange students, various kinds of financial support, such as tuition fee wavers, special scholarships, and administrative-service assistance, are available.
- Office of International Affairs establishes and manages international academic cooperation with foreign colleges and universities to boost the exchange activities of its students and faculty and to broaden their learning horizons.
- Office of International Affairs offers a unique short-term Korean-culture program during the summer break for the international students from its partner institutions. The three-week program consists of Korean studies and lectures on the basics of the Korean language. It also includes field work, from which the students can obtain cultural experiences by visiting various cultural sites and participating in traditional musical and dance performances.
- The support for foreign students coming to Chung-Ang University includes airport pickup, providing the students with or assisting them in obtaining suitable accommodations, and coordinating all aspects of their campus life.
- Office of International Affairs also offers exchange and study-abroad programs to Chung-Ang University students and provides them with all the necessary support and assistance to help them successfully complete their foreign study.
