Expenses

The tuition is waived for international exchange students, but students are responsible for their housing and meal costs unless the exchange agreement has a waiver provision.

Dormitory/apartment housing is available for all exchange students. Two students usually share one twin room. Each student is provided with a bed, a desk, a closet, and Internet access.

The estimated expenses are as follows:

Scholarship and Benefits

To promote student exchange programs, Chung-Ang University offers special scholarships and benefits, in addition to the general benefits, based on the terms and conditions of the exchange agreement between Chung-Ang University and partner institutions

CAU OIA-Fellowship

The CAU OIA-Fellowship is the scholarship that is awarded to the most qualified recipient deemed by the international office staff, whom will get the opportunity to work an internship position as the 'International Exchange Student Advisor Assistant' in the Chung-Ang University Office of International Affairs. The role is to provide guidance to exchange students, and well being an ambassador for the international students. You will have the opportunity to be an essential and important role for the International Office team, while also getting to study on the side here at the university.

CAU GOS(Global Opportunity Scholarship)

The CAU GOS is for those exchange students from eligible designated countries, which provides living and on-campus accommodation expenses.

CAU GSI(Global Student Internship)

The CAU Student Internship is an opportunity for exchange students to work at on campus activities. The assigned mandatory hours are 10 or 12 hours per week and pay is given accordingly. This opportunity is only open to those universities that have an agreement regarding the CAU GSI Scholarship. If students fail at their duties, the scholarship can be retracted. The tuition is waived for international exchange students, but students are responsible for their housing and meal costs unless the exchange agreement has a waiver provision.

Asem Duo Scholarship

Duo-Korea scholarship is promoting education exchanges between Korea and European countries. This scholarship is offered to pairs of students from European partner universities with 8,000 euros for a pair of students(4,000 euros for each student).
