Guidelines for Chung-ang University
ARC group application for 2024 Spring semester
Hello. This is Chung-ang University Office of International Affairs.
The International Exchange Team will conduct an online group application for better and easier issuance of ARC for the students. Those who need to apply, must apply within the applicable period. Students who have applied or plan to apply themselves, don’t need to apply the group application.
1. Application period information
1) Issuance of a new ARC
1st registration period: February 26th (Mon) ~ March 3rd (Sun)
2nd registration period: March 8th (Fri) ~ March 16th (Sat)
2. Information on expenses for each task
Type | Eligibility | VISA Type | Fee |
1 | Students who entered the country with a D-2 Visa from a foreign country. | Issuance of Registration Card | 40,000 won |
2 | Students who need to change their visa from undergraduate student visa (D-2-2) to master's student visa (D-2-3). | Extension of D-2 Visa | 70,000 won |
Students who need to change their visa from master's student visa (D-2-3) to doctoral student visa (D-2-4) |
Students who need to extend their study visa (D-2 visa). |
Students who are required to extend their study visa (D-2) due to extra semester or thesis schedule |
3 | Students who need to change their visa from a language study visa (D-4) to a student visa (D-2) | Change of status of residence | 140,000 won |
*Additional charges may occur due to exchange rates and fees
*F-4 visa holders must carry out their stay in person
