Notice about Academic Operations in the
Second Half of Spring 2021
The university's headquarters held a
committee on 6th, April (Tuesday)
and decided to operate the "Phase 2.5" in the second eight weeks of
Spring 2021, according to the " Academic Operations Plan by Phase"
announced earlier.
In ¡°Phase 2.5¡±, it is a principle that all
classes are operated remotely (online). However, lab experiment and
practice-based ones can be operated face-to-face under the approval of the deans
as well as thorough quarantine and control, and may also be offered both in
person and remotely.
However, if an infected person occurs in
the face-to-face classes, then the classes will be changed to temporary
non-face-to-face ones and operated by face-to-face again after effective quarantine
and inspection.
The midterm exam is conducted under
discretion of the professor. In the case of subjects that take the midterm
exam, it is a principle to be conducted remotely, and in some exceptions, only
subjects approved by the university president can conduct face-to-face exams.
The principle of the final exam is the same as that of the midterm exam, but it
can be evaluated in a way such as replacement of assignments.
The evaluation is conducted by absolute grading
scale. In addition, students graduating in 2021 Spring semester will also be
exempted from submitting their English/Chinese Characters/Korean Language exam
certificates required for graduation.
According to the principle of academic
operations in Spring 2021, D-2 visa for foreign students who have received D-2
visa while not inbound will be canceled and students cannot enter Korea.
Visa issuance and standard admission permit
for the enrollment of Fall 2021 will be announced in July.
