Regarding
Entry Procedure into Korea for 2021-1 International Students
All international students entering Korea
need to take a total of 3 PCR tests, as below:
[Overall Procedure (in order of business)]
1. Within 72 hours before departure: Need
to take 1st PCR test
2. Before/During boarding of plane: Need to
provide negative PCR test result
3. After landing/arriving at Korea: Need to
take 2nd PCR test (if student shows COVID19 symptoms – at airport / if student
does not show COVID19 symptoms – near place of residence within 1 day of
arrival)

IF result is ¡®positive¡¯ : Need to quarantine at facility
2)
IF result is ¡®negative¡¯: Need to go to place of residence and self-quarantine.
Need to fill out monitory app every day.
4. Before 2-week self-quarantine is over:
Need to take 3rd PCR test
Students will need to download a monitoring
app at the airport, and head directly to their destinations (no detours
allowed). Masks should be worn at all times; if not, students may need to pay a
fine.
Students who provide false information/data
regarding their health status or disregard quarantine protocols will be
responsible for the payment of their own treatment from COVID-19. In extreme
cases, students disregarding protocol will pay a fine and may be deported from
Korea.
