Guidance on the registration/enrollment of international students and academic affairs in accordance with the COVID 19 situation.
As the international disaster situation continues due to the COVID19 outbreak, the Office of International Affairs is implementing the following support measures in consideration of the special circumstances of international students studying abroad.

New students for Fall 2020 are able to take a leave of absence Those who took a leave of absence for Spring 2020 could take a leave of absence for Fall 2020 in a row. |
Enrolled | The return of tuition for leave of absence | If you request a leave of absence by September 14, the tuition will be replaced with the tuition of your next enrolled semester. |
On scholarship | Scholarship postpone is impossible in case of leave of absence for enrolled first semester | The scholarship will be applied to the returning semester in case of the leave of absence for the first enrolled semester |

Extending your leave of absence for first enrolled semester | 1. You can apply for it by yourself on CAU portal. - http://portal.cau.ac.kr -> 학사마당 -> 휴학신청 2. In case you can’t do this on CAU portal - Complete the documents listed below and send it to us via email (ba@cau.ac.kr) - Application, letter of attorney, a photocopy of passport (Please send the photocopy of passport along with your contact number, Kakao ID, etc) - If your application was accepted, you will received the email from us saying ‘accpeted’. Your academic status will be updated upon your request and it would take 2-3business days. ※ Due date Date | Return amount | ~ Sept 14 | The tuition of the next enrolled semester will be replaced for 100% | Sept 14 to 28 | 5/6 of tuition will be refunded | After Sept 28 | unable to request a leave of absence |
