¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú Çù·Â °ü°è¸¦ ¸Î°í ÀÖ´Â ³×´ú¶õµå UT(University of Twente)¿Í ´ë¸¸ NTNU(National Taiwan Normal University)°¡ ¼­¿ïÄ·ÆÛ½º¸¦ ¹æ¹®ÇØ ÆÄÆ®³Ê½ÊÀ» ÇÑÃþ ´õ ²ö²öÇÏ°Ô ¸¸µå´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Á³´Ù.

The University of Twente (UT) from the Netherlands and National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) from Taiwan visited our Seoul campus to further strengthen the partnership between our university and these institutions.

³×´ú¶õµå µ¿ºÎ¿¡ À§Ä¡ÇÑ ¿¬±¸Á߽ɴëÇÐ UT °ü°èÀÚµéÀÌ 2ÀÏ ¼­¿ïÄ·ÆÛ½º¸¦ ¹æ¹®Çß´Ù. 2018³â Çлý±³·ù ÇùÁ¤À» ü°áÇϸç À̾î¿Â Çù·Â ¹üÀ§¸¦ ÇÑÃþ È®´ëÇϱâ À§Çؼ­´Ù.

Representatives from the research-oriented UT, located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, visited the Seoul campus on the 2nd. The purpose of their visit was to expand the scope of collaboration, following the signing of a student exchange agreement in 2018.

 UT´Â ÇöÀç 5°³ Çкθ¦ º¸À¯ÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Ù. ¡ãEngineering Technology(ET) ¡ãElectrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science(EWI) ¡ãScience and Technology (TNW) ¡ãBehavioural, Management & Social Sciences(BMS) ¡ãGeo-Information Science & Earth Observation(ITC) Çкθ¦ ÅëÇØ ÇùÁ¤ ÀÌÈÄ 5³â°£ 41¸íÀÇ ÃÊû¡¤ÆÄ°ß ÇлýÀ» ¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú ±³È¯Çß´Ù.

UT currently houses five faculties: Engineering Technology (ET), Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science (EWI), Science and Technology (TNW), Behavioural, Management & Social Sciences (BMS), and Geo-Information Science & Earth Observation (ITC). Since the agreement, UT has exchanged a total of 41 students with our university. 


À̳¯ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀ» ¹æ¹®ÇÑ UT ±¹Á¦Ã³ °ü°èÀÚ L.A. Lotte Sander MSc´Â ¡°UT¿¡¼­´Â Ư¼ö °­Á¸¦ Á¦¿ÜÇÑ ¸ðµç ¼ö¾÷ÀÌ ¿µ¾î·Î ÁøÇàµÈ´Ù. º» Àü°ø ÀÌ¿Ü ´Ù¸¥ Çаú ¼ö¾÷À» ÀÚÀ¯·Ó°Ô µéÀ» ¼ö ÀÖ´Â °Íµµ ÀåÁ¡¡±À̶ó¸ç, ¡°ÇöÁö¿¡¼­ Áß¾Ó´ëÀÇ ÀαⰡ ³ô¾ÆÁö°í ÀÖ´Ù. ÇöÀç °æ¿µ¡¤»çȸ°úÇÐ Áß½ÉÀ¸·Î ü°áµÅ ÀÖ´Â ÇùÁ¤À» °ø°ú´ëÇбîÁö Ãß°¡ È®´ëÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ»Áö¸¦ ³íÀÇÇÏ°íÀÚ ÇÑ´Ù¡±°í Çß´Ù.

L.A. Lotte Sander MSc, an international office representative from UT, mentioned, "All classes at UT, except for special courses, are conducted in English. The ability to freely take classes from other departments besides one's major is an advantage." She added, "The popularity of Chung-Ang University is increasing locally. We would like to discuss the possibility of expanding the current agreement, which is centered on business and social sciences, to include the College of Engineering."

°°Àº ³¯ ¿ÀÈÄ¿¡´Â ´ë¸¸ NTNU °ü°èÀÚµéÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀ» ã¾Ò´Ù. ¿ÃÇØ 8¿ù ¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀÌ ´ë¸¸À» ¹æ¹®ÇÑ µ¥ ´ëÇÑ È­´äÀ¸·Î Yung-Hsiang Ying ºÎÃÑÀåÀ» ºñ·ÔÇØ 11¸íÀÇ NTNU °ü°èÀÚ°¡ ÇÔ²²ÇÑ ´ë±Ô¸ð ¹æ¹®À̾ú´Ù.

Later the same day, representatives from NTNU in Taiwan visited our university. This visit, which included Vice President Yung-Hsiang Ying and 11 other NTNU representatives, was in response to President Park Sang-kyu's visit to Taiwan in August of this year.

NTNU´Â 1992³â °Ç¸³µÈ ´ë¸¸ ÀÏ·ù´ëÇÐÀ¸·Î ÃÑ 1¸¸6626¸íÀÇ Çлý°ú 1625¸íÀÇ ±³¼öÁøÀ» º¸À¯ÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Ù. ¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú´Â 1983³â Çлý±³·ù ¹× ÀϹÝÇùÁ¤À» ü°áÇß°í, 2005³âºÎÅÍ ÃÊûÇлý 57¸í°ú ÆÄ°ßÇлý 37¸íÀ» ±³È¯Çß´Ù.

NTNU, established in 1992, is a leading university in Taiwan with a total of 16,626 students and 1,625 faculty members. Our university has had a student exchange and general agreement with NTNU since 1983, and since 2005, 57 invited students and 37 dispatched students have participated in the exchange.


NTNU ¹æ¹®´ÜÀº CALIS(CAU Leaders of international Students)ÀÇ µµ¿òÀ» ¹Þ¾Æ ÇÑ ½Ã°£ °¡·® ¼­¿ïÄ·ÆÛ½º¿Í ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î Çà»ç ÇöÀåÀ» µÑ·¯º¸´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Á³´Ù. Yung-Hsiang Ying ºÎÃÑÀåÀº GCC(Global Community Center) ¾Õ¿¡ ¼³Ä¡µÈ ¹«´ë¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î¸¦ ÃàÇÏÇÏ´Â ¿¬¼³À» ÁøÇàÇϱ⵵ Çß´Ù.

The NTNU delegation, with the assistance of CALIS (CAU Leaders of International Students), spent about an hour touring the Seoul campus and the Global Fair event venue. Vice President Yung-Hsiang Ying delivered a speech congratulating the Global Fair from the stage installed in front of the Global Community Center (GCC).


¹æ¹®´ÜÀº º»°üÀ¸·Î ÀÚ¸®¸¦ ¿Å°Ü ¿ì¼öÇÑ ±¹Á¦Ã³Àå, ½ÅÁß¹ü ±¹Á¦±³·ùÆÀÀå µî°ú ÇÔ²² º»°ÝÀûÀÎ ¹ÌÆÃÀ» ÁøÇàÇß´Ù.

Moving to the main building, the delegation held substantive meetings with key figures, including the outstanding director of the International Office, and Shin Joong-beom, head of the International Exchange Team.

NTNU °ü°èÀÚµéÀº ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀÇ ±â¼÷»ç, ¿¬±¸, ÇлýÁö¿ø µî¿¡ ƯÈ÷ Å« °ü½ÉÀ» ³ªÅ¸³Â´Ù. ±â¼÷»ç °ü¸® ¹æ¾È°ú Çлý»ýÈ° »ó´ã ¹æ¹ý µî ½Ã¼³°ú ÇÐ»ç ¿î¿µ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¾ç ´ëÇÐÀÇ ³ëÇÏ¿ìµéÀÌ À̳¯ ¹ÌÆÃÀ» ÅëÇØ ¿À°¬´Ù.

NTNU representatives expressed particular interest in our university's dormitories, research, and student support. Insights into facilities and academic operations from both universities were exchanged during the meeting.

¿ì¼öÇÑ ±¹Á¦Ã³ÀåÀº ¡°Çѱ¹¿¡ ¿Â °ÍÀ» ȯ¿µÇÑ´Ù. ´ë¸¸Àº ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¸Å¿ì Áß¿äÇÑ ÆÄÆ®³Ê¡±¶ó¸ç, ¡°Áö¸®Àû¡¤ÀÎÁ¾Àû À¯»ç¼ºÀ» Åä´ë·Î Çлý ±³·ù¸¦ È®´ëÇÏ°í, ÇлýµéÀÇ ¼º°øÀ» À§ÇØ °Ç¼³ÀûÀ¸·Î Çù·ÂÇÏ´Â °ü°è°¡ µÆÀ¸¸é ÇÑ´Ù¡±°í Çß´Ù.

Su-Han Woo, Vice President of the International Office welcomed the visitors, stating, "Welcome to Korea. Taiwan is a very important partner for us." He expressed the desire to expand student exchanges based on geographical and racial similarities and to build a constructive relationship for the success of students.
