* Part time employment permission(S-3) of Study Abroad(D-2)

Those with Study Abroad(D-2) status who have been studying higher level educational institute.

-who have been studied at least one semester(D-2)

-who are preparing thesis after completion of regular degree

(including naster’s degree and doctor’s degree)

* Allowed time and workplace

Up to 30 hours per week during school terms.(This is applied to the CAU graduate students)

Unlimited hours during weekends, holidays, vacations

*  Allowed fields

Occupation acknowledged as having close ties with their major

Occupation commonly accepted by society as being suitable for student : Interpretation/translation, janitor work, assistance in restaurant business, general office work assistance, arranging books at library, temporary research activities that are not formal employment such as lab projects in which the study and the research are performed side be side, temporary lecture assistance, temporary research assistance.

Application should be submitted to the Immigration Office, with a recommendation letter from the international officer of Chung-Ang University).

■ A recommendation letter : Signature from staff member of Office of International Affairs in Chung Ang University will be compulsory. This letter also should include below information ;

Period, location, field of employment, Business registration number, undertaking duties and Signature of employer's

■ Certificate of studentship

*Permission period will be maximum 1 year which can not be more than their period of sojourn
