Vaccination
Status Registration
The COOV app is used by indoor facilities to check your vaccination status through a QR code and to compile data in case of infection.
Foreign nationals who were fully vaccinated abroad can register their vaccination status by bringing their passport or residence card as well as their proof of Immunization to their local Public Health Center during weekdays.
An individual's vaccine credential will be valid for 6 months, starting fourteen days after receiving a second dose of a vaccine or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
The validity of a vaccine pass can be extended with a booster shot.
The registration of the vaccine status allows non-Korean citizens to receive a third shot and the benefit of a vaccine pass.
Korea currently accepts the following vaccine manufacturers: Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen, AstraZeneca, Covishield (AstraZeneca vaccine by Serum Institute of India), Sinopharm, Sinovac and Novavax.
