±¹Á¦Ã³, 2023Çг⵵ 2Çбâ ÃÊû ±³È¯¡¤¹æ¹®Çлý ¿À¸®¿£Å×ÀÌ¼Ç ¼º·áFall 2023 Exchange and Visiting Student Orientation Hosted by the Office of International Affairs is a Success±¹Á¦Ã³°¡ »õ ÇбâºÎÅÍ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇп¡¼­ »ýȰÇÏ°Ô µÈ ÃÊû ±³È¯¡¤¹æ¹® ÇлýµéÀ» À§ÇØ ¿À¸®¿£Å×ÀÌ¼Ç Çà»ç¸¦ °³ÃÖÇß´Ù. The Office of International Affairs recently organized an orientation event for exchange and visiting students who will be studying at our university starting this Fall semester.¡®2023Çг⵵ °¡À»Çбâ ÃÊû ±³È¯¡¤¹æ¹® Çлý ¿À¸®¿£Å×À̼Ç(Fall 2023 CAU International Student Orientation)¡¯ÀÌ 8¿ù 31ÀÏ 301°ü(Áß¾Ó¹®È­¿¹¼ú°ü) Áß¾Ó¾ÆÆ®È¦¿¡¼­ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. The Fall 2023 CAU International Student Orientation was held at the Central Arts Hall in Building 301 (Art Center) of our Seoul campus on August 31st, 2023.À̳¯ Çà»ç´Â ±³È¯¡¤¹æ¹® Çлýµé¿¡°Ô º»°ÝÀûÀÎ »õ ÇбⰡ ½ÃÀÛµÆÀ½À» ¾Ë¸®´Â ÀÚ¸®¿´´Ù. À̹ø Çб⠿츮 ´ëÇп¡ ÃÊûµÈ ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ ±³È¯¡¤¹æ¹®ÇлýÀº ÃÑ 470¿© ¸íÀ̸ç, À̵éÀÇ ¼Ò¼Ó ±¹°¡´Â 53°³±¹ÀÌ´Ù. The orientation signified the beginning of the new semester for exchange and visiting students. There are over 470 foreign exchange and visiting students studying at our university this semester. In total, the international student body represents 53 countries from across the globe.¿ì¼öÇÑ ±¹Á¦Ã³ÀåÀº ȯ¿µ»ç¸¦ ÅëÇØ ¡°Å¸±¹¿¡ ¿Â ¸¸Å­ ¼ö¾÷À» ³Ñ¾î ´Ù¾çÇÑ °æÇèÀ» ÇÏ±æ ¹Ù¶õ´Ù. ÀÇ»ç¼ÒÅë¿¡ ¾î·Á¿òÀÌ ¸¹°ÚÁö¸¸ ±¹Á¦Ã³¿Í ±¹Á¦Çлý´ë»ç ±Û·¥¿¡°Ô À̾߱âÇÏ¸é ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö µµ¿òÀ» ÁÙ °Í¡±À̶õ ¸»·Î ÇлýµéÀ» ¹Ý°å´Ù.The Vice Provost of the Office of International Affairs, Dr. Su-Han Woo, welcomed students with a speech, stating, "We hope you will have diverse experiences beyond your academic studies while you're here. We understand that communication may be challenging, but both the International Office and the GLAM (Global Ambassadors) are here to assist you whenever you need it."À̹ø ¿À¸®¿£Å×À̼ǿ¡¼­´Â ¿¹³â°ú ´Þ¸® ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ µ¿¾Æ¸®µéÀÇ È¯¿µ °ø¿¬µµ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. ÀÀ¿ø´Ü ÈĶó¾¾(HURRAH–C)°¡ Ä¡¾î¸®µùÀ¸·Î ¸·À» ¿Ã¸° µ¥ ´õÇØ ´Ù½Ã»çÀ̵å(Da C Side), ´í½ºÆ÷Áî(Dance P.O.zz), ºí·çµå·¡°ï(Blue Dragon)ÀÇ °ø¿¬ÀÌ À̾îÁ³´Ù. Unlike previous orientations, this year's event also featured performances by clubs at the university. Representatives from the Information Security External Affairs Division of the Seoul Dongjak Police Station conducted a crime prevention education session, emphasizing the need to be especially vigilant due to recent cases of voice phishing scams, high-paying part-time job scams, and drug-related crimes targeting foreigners.À̾îÁø 2ºÎ Çà»ç¸¦ ÅëÇØ¼­´Â ÇлçÀÏÁ¤°ú ¿Ü±¹Àεî·ÏÁõ ¹ß±Þ µî ±³È¯ÇлýÀÌ ¼÷ÁöÇÒ »çÇ׿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¾È³»°¡ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. ±¹Á¦Çлý´ë»ç ±Û·¥(GLAM)ÀÇ Çѱ¹ »ýȰ ¼Ò°³¿Í Ä·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î·Î À̳¯ Çà»ç´Â ¸ðµÎ ¸¶¹«¸®µÆ´Ù. Afterwards, guidance on academic scheduling and foreigner registration card applications for exchange students was provided. 2023 ±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çб⠡®CAU International Summer Program¡¯ ¼º·á2023 CAU International Summer Program is Successfully Concluded by the Office of International Affairs Team¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ±¹Á¦Ã³°¡ ÁÖ°üÇÑ 2023Çг⵵ ±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çб⠡®CAU International Summer Program¡¯ÀÌ 170¿© ¸íÀÇ ¼ö·á»ýÀ» ¹èÃâÇÏ¸ç ¼ºÈ²¸®¿¡ Á¾·áµÆ´Ù. Our university's Office of International Affairs (OIA) team has successfully concluded the 2023 CAU International Summer Program (ISP). This Summer, more than 170 students participated in the program.À̹ø ±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çб⿡´Â 14°³±¹, 34°³ Àڸű³¿¡¼­ ¿Â ÇлýµéÀÌ Âü°¡Çß´Ù. ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ÀçÇлýµéµµ Âü¿©ÇØ ÇÔ²² ¿ì¸®³ª¶óÀÇ ¹®È­¡¤»çȸ¿¡ ´ëÇØ ޱ¸ÇÏ´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Á³´Ù. Students from 14 countries and 34 partner universities joined the ISP this year. CAU¡¯s local students also participated, engaging in workshops about Korean culture and society.2023 ±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çбâ´Â 2°³ ¼¼¼ÇÀ¸·Î ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. 6¿ù 27ÀϺÎÅÍ Áö³­´Þ 21ÀϱîÁö ÁøÇàµÈ ¼¼¼Ç 1¿¡ À̾î ÀÌ´Þ 1ÀϺÎÅÍ 18ÀϱîÁö ¼¼¼Ç2°¡ ¿­·È´Ù. The 2023 International Summer Program consisted of two sessions. Session 1 took place from June 27th to July 21st and Session 2 from August 1st to 18th.¿Ü±¹ÀÎ ÇлýµéÀº Âü¿© ±â°£ µ¿¾È Çѱ¹¾î¸¦ °øºÎÇÑ µ¥ ´õÇØ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Æ¯°­, ¹®È­Ã¼Çè µîÀ» ÅëÇØ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó ¹®È­¸¦ ÁýÁß Å½±¸ÇÏ´Â ±âȸ¸¦ °¡Á³´Ù. ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ÀçÇлýµéÀº ¿µ¾î·Î ÁøÇàµÈ Àü°ø¼ö¾÷À» µéÀ¸¸ç ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ Çлýµé°ú ±³·ùÇÏ´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Á³´Ù. International students studied the Korean language and had the opportunity to experience Korean culture first-hand through special lectures and cultural experiences. Our local university students engaged in specialized courses conducted in English and befriended many international students.±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çб⸦ ÅëÇØ ´Ù¾çÇÑ Ã¼ÇèȰµ¿µµ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. ¼­¿ïNŸ¿ö ¹æ¹®, µÎ»êº£¾î½º ¾ß±¸ °ü¶÷, K-POP ´í½º üÇè, Çѱ¹°æÁ¦¹ßÀü Àü½Ã °ü¶÷ µî¿¡ Å« È£ÀÀÀÌ ½ñ¾ÆÁ³´Ù. The students participated in many cultural activities including a trip to Seoul Tower, seeing a Doosan Bears baseball game, a K-POP dance class, and going to an exhibition on the development of the Korean economy.±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çб⿡ Âü°¡ÀÚ¸¦ º¸³½ Áß±¹ »êµ¿°úÇбâ¼ú´ëÇÐ(Shandong University of Technology)°ú ÀϺ» ¼ø´ÙÀÌ ¿Ü±¹¾î&ºñÁî´Ï½ºÇб³(Sundai College of Business & Foreign Languages) ±³Á÷¿øÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀ» ¹æ¹®ÇØ ±³È¯Çлý ±³·ù ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ °èȹÀ» ³íÀÇÇϱ⵵ Çß´Ù. Representatives from Shandong University of Technology in China and Sundai College of Business & Foreign Languages in Japan who encouraged their students to participate in the International Summer Program visited our university to discuss plans for a student exchange program during the Fall and Spring semesters.±¹Á¦Ã³ °ü°èÀÚ´Â ¡°³»³â¿¡µµ ±¹Á¦¿©¸§Çбâ¿Í ±¹Á¦°Ü¿ïÇбâ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» °è¼Ó ¿î¿µÇÒ °èȹ¡±À̶ó¸ç ¡°¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ÇлýµéÀÌ ´õ ¸¹ÀÌ Âü¿©ÇØ ÇØ¿Ü ÀڸŴëÇÐÀÇ ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ Çлýµé°ú Ȱ¹ßÇÑ ±³·ù¸¦ À̾±æ ±â´ëÇÑ´Ù¡±°í ÀüÇß´Ù. An official from the OIA stated, "We plan to continue running the International Summer and Winter Programs next year as well." They added, "We hope more CAU students will participate, encouraging an active exchange with the international students from our partner universities abroad."

NTNU is a prestigious university that was established in 1946. Our university has had a long relationship with NTNU. Our universities signed an agreement in 1983. Since then, our universities have engaged in various exchange programs, including academic exchanges, student exchanges, and international short-term exchange programs.À̳¯ Wu Cheng-Chih ÃÑÀå, Liu Yi-De ºÎÃÑÀå, Hsieh Hsiu-Mei ±¹Á¦Ã³Àå µî ±¹¸³´ë¸¸»ç¹ü´ë ÁÖ¿ä °ü°èÀÚµéÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ¹æ¹®´ÜÀ» ¸ÂÀÌÇß´Ù. ÀÌ¾î ¾ç±³ °£ ±³·ùÇù·ÂÀ» ÁõÁøÇÏ´Â ¹æ¾È¿¡ ´ëÇØ ½Éµµ ±íÀº ´ëÈ­¸¦ ³ª´³´Ù. During the visit, President Park was welcomed by NTNU¡¯s President Wu Cheng-Chih, Vice President Liu Yi-De, and Director of the Office of International Affairs Hsieh Hsiu-Mei. The foundation encourages international competitiveness between Taiwan's higher education institutions. Therefore, NTNU¡¯s goal is to create a stronger relationship with our university to increase its competitiveness. He stated, "We will promote joint AI research with Taiwanese universities and further strengthen our collaborative relationships."
