±¹Á¦Ã³ ÁÖ°ü ±³È¯Çлý ÃàÁ¦ÀÇ Àå ¡®CAU Global Week¡¯ ¼º·áCAU Global Week (an exchange student festival organized by the Office of International Affairs) was a great success15ÀϺÎÅÍ 18ÀϱîÁö ÁøÇàµÈ 2023Çг⵵ 1Çб⠡®CAU Global Week¡¯ Çà»ç°¡ ¼º°øÀûÀ¸·Î ¸¶¹«¸®µÆ´Ù. CAU Global Week, which took place during the first semester of the 2023 academic year from May 15th to 18th, has come to a successful conclusion.CAU Global Week´Â ¿ì¸® ´ëÇп¡¼­ Çо÷¿¡ ¿­ÁßÇϰí ÀÖ´Â ¿Ü±¹ ÀڸŴëÇÐ ÃÊû ±³È¯ÇлýµéÀÌ ÁøÇàÇÏ´Â Çà»ç´Ù. 15Àϰú 16ÀÏ¿¡´Â ±Û·Î¹ú ¼¼¹Ì³ª, 17Àϰú 18ÀÏ¿¡´Â ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î Çà»ç°¡ °¢°¢ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. CAU Global Week is organized by exchange students studying at Chung-Ang university. Global seminars were held on May 15th and 16th and the Global Fair was held on May 17th and 18th.¿Â¶óÀÎÀ¸·Î ÁøÇàµÈ ±Û·Î¹ú ¼¼¹Ì³ª¿¡´Â ¹Ì±¹¡¤ÇÁ¶û½º¡¤È£ÁÖ¡¤µ¶ÀÏ¡¤½Ì°¡Æ÷¸£ ÃÊû ±³È¯ÇлýµéÀÌ Âü¿©Çß´Ù. ±³È¯ÇлýµéÀÇ ÀڸŴëÇÐ ¼Ò°³¿Í Áß¾ÓÀÎÀÇ ±³È¯Çлý °æÇè´ãÀ» °øÀ¯ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¸®¿´´Ù. Exchange students from the United States, France, Australia, Germany, and Singapore attended globally-focused online seminars. The students introduced their home countries and shared their experiences as exchange students.À̾î 310°ü(100Áֳ⠱â³ä°ü) ¾ß¿Ü±¤Àå¿¡¼­ ¡®We, Re-connected¡¯¶ó´Â ÁÖÁ¦·Î ¡®Spring 2023 CAU Global Fair¡¯ Çà»ç°¡ ¿­·È´Ù. ±³È¯ÇлýÀ¸·Î ÀçÇÐ ÁßÀÎ ÃÊû¡¤¹æ¹® ÇлýµéÀÌ Á÷Á¢ ºÎ½º¸¦ ¿î¿µÇÏ¸ç ¸ð±³¿Í ±¹°¡¸¦ È«º¸ÇÏ´Â ¹æ½ÄÀ¸·Î Çà»ç°¡ ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. The Spring 2023 CAU Global Fair was held in the outdoor plaza of Building 310 (Centennial Hall) with the title 'We, Re-connected'. Ưº° ºÎ½º·Î ²Ù·ÁÁø ±¹Á¦Ã³ ÁÖ°ü »ó´ã ºÎ½º¸¦ ÅëÇØ ±³È¯Çлý Á¦µµ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ±Ã±ÝÁõÀ» ÇØ°áÇÏ´Â ±âȸµµ ÁÖ¾îÁ³´Ù. The event included many booths, each with a different activity for visitors to participate in. For example, booths representing countries from around the world and the Global Ambassador booth representing Korea each had fun activities to complete to learn more about the world and earn prizes. There also was a stage set up next to the booths that was used for exciting events including a spicy noodle eating challenge. A special booth hosted by the Office of International Affairs provided an opportunity for students to ask any questions about the exchange student program.Äڷγª19 ÆÒµ¥¹Í ÀÌÈÄ 4³â¸¸¿¡ ´ë¸éÀ¸·Î ÁøÇàµÈ À̹ø ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î¿¡´Â Å« °ü½ÉÀÌ ½ò·È´Ù. 30°³±¹ 85°³ ÀÌ»ó ´ëÇп¡¼­ ¿Â 200¿© ¸íÀÇ ±³È¯ÇлýÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ Çлýµé°ú ¹®È­¸¦ ±³·ùÇϰí È­ÇÕÇÏ´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Áö¸ç, ±Û·Î¹ú Ä·ÆÛ½ºÀÇ ¸é¸ð¸¦ À¯°¨¾øÀÌ ¹ßÈÖÇß´Ù. The Global Fair was held in person for the first time in four years after the COVID-19 pandemic and had record attendance from the students on campus. More than 200 exchange students from more than 85 universities in 30 countries attended the event. The Global Fair was a great platform for students to learn about each other¡¯s backgrounds and cultures on campus.±¹Á¦Çлý´ë»ç(Global Ambassador, GLAM)µµ ±³È¯Çлýµé°ú ÇÔ²² dz¼ºÇÑ Çà»ç¸¦ ¸¶·ÃÇÏ´Â µ¥ ÈûÀ» º¸ÅÉ´Ù. ±Û·¥¿À¶ô½Ç, ¹öµðÆÃ µî Áß¾ÓÀΰú ±³È¯ÇлýÀÇ ±³·ù¸¦ À§ÇÑ ´Ù¾çÇÑ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥°ú ±â³äǰÀ» ÁغñÇØ ´«±æÀ» ²ø¾ú´Ù. ±Û·¥ ÁÖµµ·Î ÁøÇàµÈ ¹«´ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥¿¡¼­´Â ±³È¯Çлý°ú Áß¾ÓÀÎÀÇ ³¢¸¦ ¸¶À½²¯ Ç¥ÇöÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â ½Ã°£ÀÌ ¸¶·ÃµÇ±âµµ Çß´Ù. The CAU Global Ambassadors (GLAM) also helped organize additional activities with the exchange students. Souvenirs were gifted to exchange students after they completed a Korea trivia game and buddy program activity prepared by the GLAMs. Activities led by GLAM on the main stage also allowed the exchange students and hosts to perform their talents.¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀº 17ÀÏ ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î Çà»çÀåÀ» ã¾Æ ºÎ½ºµéÀ» üÇèÇϸç Çлýµé¿¡°Ô ÀÀ¿ø°ú °Ý·Á¸¦ °Ç³Þ´Ù. ±³È¯ÇлýµéÀº ÀÌ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ È­´äÀ¸·Î ½º½ÂÀÇ ³¯ ±â³ä Ä«³×À̼ǰú ·Ñ¸µ ÆäÀÌÆÛ¸¦ Àü´ÞÇß´Ù. On May 17th, the president of Chung-Ang University, Sang-Gyu Park, visited the Global Fair to show support and encourage students participation in the event. To show their appreciation, the exchange students gifted carnations and letters commemorating Teacher's Day to the president.¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀº ¡°¿À·£¸¸¿¡ ´ë¸éÀ¸·Î ±Û·Î¹ú Æä¾î Çà»ç¸¦ ÁøÇàÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°Ô µÅ ±â»Ú´Ù. ¼­·Î°¡ È­ÇÕÇÔÀ¸·Î½á Áß¾Ó´ë°¡ ±Û·Î¹ú ´ëÇÐÀ¸·Î ´õ¿í ¹ßÀüÇÒ ¼ö Àֱ⸦ ¹Ù¶õ´Ù. ±¹Á¦Ã³ ±¹Á¦±³·ùÆÀ, Á¦4ȸ ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ Çлý ´ë»ó Ä·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î ¡®Áß¾Ó´ë ÇѹÙÄû, CAT¡¯ ¼º·á4th Campus Tour Program (CAT, CAU Tour) for Foreign Students Provided by the CAU Office of International Affairs¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ±¹Á¦Ã³ ±¹Á¦±³·ùÆÀÀÌ Áö³­´Þ 26ÀÏ ÁøÇàÇÑ Á¦4ȸ Ä·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ ¡®Áß¾Ó´ë ÇѹÙÄû-CAT(CAU Tour)¡¯À» ¼º°øÀûÀ¸·Î ¸¶ÃÆ´Ù. The CAU Office of International Affairs successfully completed the 4th Campus Tour Program(CAT, CAU Tour), held on the 26th of last month. À̹ø Ä·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î´Â ¡ãµî·Ï ¡ãÈ«º¸ µ¿¿µ»ó ½Ãû ¡ã¿Ü±¹ÀÎÀüÇü ÀÔÇм³¸íȸ ¡ãÁúÀÇÀÀ´ä ¡ã±â³ä»çÁø ÃÔ¿µ ¡ãÄ·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î ¡ãÇлý ½Ä´ç üÇèÇϱ⠼øÀ¸·Î ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. The campus tour followed the schedule: registration, watching promotional videos, international ad-missions programming introduction, Q&A session, group photo, campus tour, and a student cafeteria dining experience. ±¹Á¦Ã³´Â À̳¯ ÀÔÇм³¸íȸ¿Í ÁúÀÇÀÀ´ä ½Ã°£À» ÅëÇØ ÀÔÇÐ Á¤º¸¸¦ Àü´ÞÇϰí, ÇлýµéÀÌ ±Ã±ÝÇØÇÏ´Â Áú¹®¿¡ ´ëÇØ ´äº¯ÇÏ´Â ½Ã°£À» °¡Á³´Ù.The Office of International Affairs provided detailed information to prospective students through the international admissions programming introduction and Q&A session. The Q&A session gave potential  students the opportunity to ask any questions they have and receive informative answers directly to our staff.Ä·ÆÛ½º Åõ¾î ÁøÇàÀº CALIS(À¯Çлý ¸®´õ) ÇлýµéÀÌ ¸Ã¾Ò´Ù. ¼­¿ï ¸Å±×³Ý°íµîÇб³, ¾È»ê±¹Á¦ºñÁî´Ï½º°íµîÇб³, Çѱ¹¾î ¾îÇпø¿¡¼­ ÀçÇÐ ÁßÀÎ ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ ÇлýµéÀÌ À̹ø Åõ¾î¿¡ Âü°¡Çß´Ù. The campus tour was led by CALIS (Foreign Student Leader) students. Foreign students currently studying at Seoul Magnet High School, Ansan International Business High School, and Korean Language Institutes attended the tour.±¹Á¦±³·ùÆÀÀº ¸Å¿ù ¸¶Áö¸· ÁÖ ±Ý¿äÀϸ¶´Ù CATÀ» ½Ç½ÃÇϰí ÀÖ´Ù. º¸´Ù ¸¹Àº ±¹³» ü·ù ¿Ü±¹ÀÎ ÇлýµéÀÌ ¿ì¸® Çб³¸¦ Á÷Á¢ µÑ·¯º¸¸ç °ü½ÉÀ» ³ôÀÏ ¼ö ÀÖµµ·Ï Çϱâ À§Çؼ­´Ù. Á¤È®ÇÑ ÀÔÇÐ Á¤º¸µµ Á¦°ø °¡´ÉÇÑ ÀåÁ¡ÀÌ ÀÖ´Â ¸¸Å­ ÇâÈÄ CAT ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» Á¤Âø½Ãų °èȹÀÌ´Ù.The Office of International Affairs holds CAT (Campus Tour Program) on every last Friday of each month. The program allows foreign students residing in Korea to explore our campus and spark interest in our academic offerings. There are plans to continue the CAT program in the future.
