[2023 Visit to Hungary] President Park Sang-Gue and Hungarian Institutions Discuss Collaboration Plans for Exchange and Cooperation


¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀ» ºñ·ÔÇÑ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ´ëÇ¥´ÜÀÌ 7¿ù 13ÀϺÎÅÍ 20ÀϱîÁö ÁøÇàµÈ Çë°¡¸®¼ø¹æ ±â°£ µ¿¾È ÁÖÇë°¡¸® ´ëÇѹα¹ ´ë»ç°ü, ELTE ´ëÇÐ, Çë°¡¸® ±¹°¡±â·Ï¿ø µî Çë°¡¸® ÁÖ¿ä ±â°ü°ú ´ëÇÐÀ» ¹æ¹®Çϸç, ¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú Çë°¡¸® °£ÀÇ ±Û·Î¹ú ÆÄÆ®³Ê½ÊÀ» °­È­Çß´Ù.

During the trip to Hungary from July 13th to 20th, President Park Sang-Gue and a delegation from our university visited key institutions and universities in Hungary, including the Republic of Korea Embassy, ELTE University, and the National Archives of Hungary. The visit aimed to strengthen the global partnership between our university and Hungary.




14ÀÏ ¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀå, ±è¼¼ÀÏ »çȸ±³À°Ã³Àå, ±ÇÇüÀÏ ±¹Ã¼Ã³Àå, ½ÅÁß¹ü ±¹Á¦±³·ùÆÀÀåÀÌ Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«À̺ê(National Archives of Hungary)¸¦ ¹æ¹®Çß´Ù. ¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«À̺ê¿ÍÀÇ Çù·Â ¹æ¾ÈÀ» ³íÀÇÇϱâ À§Çؼ­´Ù. ½áº¸ ó¹ö(Dr. Habil. Szabo Csaba) ¿øÀå°ú ¹ÌÄÚ ÁÖÀü³Ê(Dr. Mikó Zsuzsanna) ºÎ¿øÀå, ±èº¸±¹ µ¿¾Æ½Ã¾Æ¿¬±¸¼ÒÀåÀÌ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ´ëÇ¥´ÜÀ» ¸ÂÀÌÇß´Ù. 

On the 14th, Park Sang-Gue, President of CAU, Dr. Kim Se-il, Office of Extended Learning, Dr. Kwon Hyung-il, Vice Provost of International Affairs, and Dr. JB Shin, Director of the Office of International Affairs, visited the National Archives of Hungary. The purpose of this visit was to discuss collaboration plans between our university and the National Archives of Hungary. The CAU delegation was welcomed by Director, Dr. Habil. Szabo Csaba, Deputy Director, Dr. Mikó Zsuzsanna, and Director, Kim Bo-guk, of the East Asia Research Institute.




Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«À̺ê´Â 1756³â ºÎ´ÙÆ佺Ʈ¿¡ ¼³¸³µÈ À¯·´ ÃÖÃÊÀÇ ±â·Ïº¸Á¸±â°üÀÌ´Ù. »ç·áÀû °¡Ä¡°¡ ³ôÀº ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó °ü·Ã ±â·Ï¹°µµ ´Ù¼ö ¼ÒÀåÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î ¾Ë·ÁÁ® ÀÖ´Ù. ƯÈ÷, Áö³­ÇØ Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«ÀÌºê ³»¿¡ µ¿¾Æ½Ã¾Æ¿¬±¸¼Ò°¡ ¼³¸³µÇ¸é¼­ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó¸¦ ºñ·ÔÇÑ ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ ´ë»ó ¿¬±¸ È°µ¿À» È°¹ßÈ÷ ÁøÇàÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Ù.

The National Archives of Hungary, founded in Budapest in 1756, is the first archival institution in Europe and is known to hold many records of high historical value, including those related to Korea. The East Asia Research Institute was established within the Hungarian National Archives last year to encourage Asian-focused research, including research on South Korea.




À̹ø ¹æ¹®À» ÅëÇØ ¾ç ±â°üÀº ¡ãµðÁöÅÐ Àι®ÇÐ ¡ãÀÚ·á Çؼ® ¡ãÀÚ·áÀÇ µðÁöÅÐÈ­ ¡ãEU ±¹°¡µé°úÀÇ °øµ¿Çù·ÂÀ» ÅëÇÑ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó ±â·Ï¹° ¹ß±¼¡¤Çؼ®¿¡ Çù·ÂÇÒ ¿¹Á¤ÀÌ´Ù. À̸¦ À§ÇØ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó ±¹¸³Áß¾Ó¹Ú¹°°üÀÌ Âü¿©ÇÏ´Â 3ÀÚ Çù·Âµµ ÃßÁøÇÑ´Ù. ¶ÇÇÑ, ³»³â ¼­¿ï¿¡¼­ °³ÃֵǴ Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«À̺ê ÄÜÆÛ·±½º¿¡ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀÌ ÃÖ´ëÇÑ Çù·ÂÇϱâ·Î Çß´Ù. 

During this visit, both institutions planned to collaborate on ¡ãdigital humanities ¡ãdocument interpretation ¡ãdigitization of documents ¡ãdiscovering and interpreting Korean records through joint cooperation with EU countries. To facilitate these initiatives, a three-way collaborative agreement including our university, the National Archives of Hungary, and the National Museum of Korea is in progress. Additionally, our university committed to actively participate in the National Archives of Hungary Conference scheduled to be held in Seoul next year.


¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀº ¡°À¯¼­ ±íÀº Çë°¡¸® ±¹¸³ ¾ÆÄ«À̺ê¿Í ¾ÕÀ¸·Î ±ä¹ÐÇÑ Çù·Â °ü°è¸¦ ±¸ÃàÇØ ¿ì¼öÇÑ ±â¼ú°ú Àü¹®ÀûÀÎ Áö½ÄÀ» ¼­·Î °øÀ¯Çϸ鼭 ÇÔ²² ¹ßÀüÇØ ³ª°¡±æ Èñ¸ÁÇÑ´Ù¡±°í Çß´Ù.

President Park Sang-Gue stated, "I hope that we can establish a close collaborative relationship with the highly esteemed National Archives of Hungary, sharing technological and professional knowledge with each other to grow stronger together."




ÀÌ¾î ´ëÇ¥´ÜÀº 7¿ù 18ÀÏ ÁÖÇë°¡¸® ´ëÇѹα¹ ´ë»ç°üÀ» ã¾Æ È«±Ô´ö ´ë»ç, °­Áö¿À 1µî ¼­±â°üÀ» ¸¸³ª Çë°¡¸®¿Í ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀÇ Çù·Â ¹æ¾È¿¡ ´ëÇØ ³íÀÇÇß´Ù. 

On July 18th, the CAU delegation visited the Republic of Korea Embassy in Hungary and discussed cooperation plans with Ambassador Hong Gyu-deok and First Secretary Kang Ji-oh. 


À̳¯ ¹ÌÆÃÀ» ÅëÇØ ´ë»ç°üÀº Çë°¡¸® Á¤ºÎÀÇ ¹æÀ§»ê¾÷, ¿øÀÚ·Â, ±³À°¹®È­ »ç¾÷¿¡ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀÇ Çù·ÂÀ» ¿äûÇß´Ù. ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ´ëÇ¥´ÜÀº ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö Çù·ÂÇÒ Àǻ簡 ÀÖÀ½À» ÀüÇϸç, ÇÑÃþ ±ä¹ÐÇÑ ³×Æ®¿öÅ©¸¦ ±¸ÃàÇϱâ·Î ¶æÀ» ¸ð¾Ò´Ù. 

During this meeting, the embassy requested our university's collaboration with Hungary's defense industry, nuclear power, education, and cultural initiatives. Our university's delegation expressed their interest in collaboration and agreed to further strengthen the network of cooperation.




¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú ÁÖÇë°¡¸® ´ë»ç°üÀÇ ±³·ù Çù·ÂÀº ¾ÕÀ¸·Îµµ °è¼ÓµÉ Àü¸ÁÀÌ´Ù. È«±Ô´ö ´ë»ç´Â ¡°2024³â Çë°¡¸® Àüü ÀºÇà ȸÀÇ°¡ °³ÃÖµÉ ¿¹Á¤ÀÌ´Ù. ÀÌ È¸ÀÇ¿¡ ¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀå´ÔÀ» Çѱ¹´ëÇб³À°ÇùÀÇȸ ´ëÇ¥ ÀÚ°ÝÀ¸·Î ÃÊûÇÏ°í ½Í´Ù¡±°í ÀüÇß´Ù. 

The cooperation between our university and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Hungary is expected to continue. Ambassador Hong Gyu-deok stated, "In 2024, Hungary will host the entire Hungarian banking conference. I would like to invite President Park Sang-Gue as the representative of the Korean Council for University Education to this conference."




´ëÇ¥´ÜÀº °°Àº³¯ ¿ÀÈÄ ÁÖÇë°¡¸® Çѱ¹¹®È­¿øµµ ¹æ¹®Çß´Ù. ÁÖÇë°¡¸® Çѱ¹¹®È­¿øÀº ¼¼Á¾ÇдçÀ» ¿î¿µÇϸç Çë°¡¸® ±¹¹Î¿¡°Ô Çѱ¹¾î °­Á¸¦ Á¦°øÇÏ´Â µ¥ ´õÇØ ¿ì¸®³ª¶óÀÇ ¹®È­¸¦ ¼Ò°³Çϱâ À§ÇÑ È°µ¿À» È°¹ßÈ÷ ÆîÄ¡°í ÀÖ´Ù. ¸Å³â Çѱ¹¿µÈ­Á¦¸¦ °³ÃÖÇÏ°í, Çѱ¹¿µÈ­ OST ¹ö½ºÅ·, Äܼ­Æ®, ¿ÀÄɽºÆ®¶ó °ø¿¬, Àü½Ã µî °¢Á¾ ¹®È­Çà»ç¸¦ Çë°¡¸® ÇöÁö¿¡¼­ Á¦°øÇÏ´Â ÁßÀÌ´Ù. 

Our university delegation also visited the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary. The Center includes the Sejong Institute and offers Korean language courses to Hungarian citizens, along with various cultural activities to promote Korean culture. These activities include an annual Korean film festival, Korean film OST busking, concerts, orchestra performances, exhibitions, and more.


Àμ÷Áø ¿øÀå°ú ±èº´¿í ´ë¿ÜÇù·ÂÆÀÀå µî ÁÖÇë°¡¸® Çѱ¹¹®È­¿ø °ü°èÀÚµéÀº ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ Àڸű³ÀÎ ¡ãELTE(Eötvös Loránd University) ¡ãMOME(Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design)¿Í ÁøÇà ÁßÀÎ Çù·Â ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ´ëÇ¥´Ü¿¡°Ô ¼Ò°³Çß´Ù. ÄÁÅÛÆ÷·¯¸® »çÁøÀü, Çѱ۽ÇÇèÇÁ·ÎÁ§Æ®, Àι®¿¹¼ú °­Á Á¦°ø µî ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó ¹®È­¸¦ È®»êÇϱâ À§ÇØ ½ÃÇà ÁßÀÎ ³ë·ÂµéÀ» ¾Ë¸®´Â ½Ã°£À̾ú´Ù. À̾î ÁÖÇë°¡¸® Çѱ¹¹®È­¿ø°úÀÇ ÀÎÅÏ »ç¾÷ µî ´Ù¾çÇÑ Çù·Â ¹æ¾È¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ³íÀÇ°¡ ÇÔ²² ÁøÇàµÆ´Ù. 

Representatives from the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary, including Director In Suk-jin and Team Leader of the External Cooperation Team Kim Byung-wook, introduced ongoing collaborative programs with our partner universities, ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University) and MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design). The representatives discussed efforts to celebrate Korean culture, such as contemporary photography exhibitions, Korean language experiments, and humanities and arts courses. The discussion also touched upon various collaboration ideas, including internships with the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary.




¸¶Áö¸· ÀÏÁ¤Àº 20ÀÏ Çë°¡¸® ±¹°¡°æÁ¦ºÎ(Ministry of Economic Development) ¶ó½½·Î °Ô¿À¸£±â(Dr. László György) Â÷°üÀÇ ÃÊûÀ¸·Î Âü¼®ÇÑ ¿ÀÂùÀ̾ú´Ù. 

The final event of the trip was a luncheon on July 20th, hosted by Dr. László György, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development of Hungary.


¿ÀÂùÀ» ÅëÇØ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇаú Çë°¡¸® ±¹°¡°æÁ¦ºÎ´Â °æÁ¦ ºÐ¾ß Çù·Â ¹æ¾È¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ½Éµµ ÀÖ´Â ³íÀǸ¦ ÁøÇàÇß´Ù. ±× °á°ú ¾ç ±â°üÀº ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ °æ¿µ¿¡ Âü¿© ÁßÀÎ µÎ»êÀÇ Çë°¡¸® »êÇÐÇù·Â ÁøÃâÀ» À§ÇØ ÈûÀ» ¸ðÀ¸±â·Î Çß´Ù. Çë°¡¸® ¼ö»óÀÌ ³»³â¿¡ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó¸¦ ¹æ¹®ÇÒ ¶§ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ Ä·ÆÛ½ºµµ ÇÔ²² ¹æ¹®Çϱâ·Î ÇßÀ¸¸ç, ÇöÀç ¿ì¸® ´ëÇп¡ ÁÖÀç ÁßÀÎ ¿ì¸®³ª¶ó ±â¾÷µé°úÀÇ Çù·Âµµ ÃßÁøÇϱâ·Î ÇÕÀÇÇß´Ù. 

During this luncheon, in-depth discussions about economic growth took place between our university and the Hungarian Ministry of Economic Development. As a result, both institutions committed to providing support to the Hungarian branch of Doosan, a company involved in our university's management. When the Prime Minister of Hungary visits Korea next year, representatives will also visit our university campus. All in all, collaborative efforts with Korean companies currently operating at our university will continue to be encouraged.


¶ó½½·Î °Ô¿À¸£±â(László György) Â÷°üÀº À̳¯ ¡°Çѱ¹Àº Çë°¡¸®¿¡°Ô ÀÖ¾î ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ Áö¿ªÀÇ Áß¿äÇÑ °æÁ¦ ÆÄÆ®³Ê´Ù. ¾ç±¹ÀÇ ¿ìÈ£ÀûÀÎ °æÁ¦ Çù·Â °ü°è¸¦ À¯ÁöÇÏ´Â µ¥ ÀÖ¾î Áß¾Ó´ëÀÇ Çù·ÂÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ÁÁ°Ú´Ù¡±°í ÇßÀ¸¸ç, ÀÌ¿¡ ¹Ú»ó±Ô ÃÑÀåÀº Àû±ØÀûÀÎ Çù·ÂÀ» ¾à¼ÓÇß´Ù. 

Deputy Minister László György stated, "Korea is an important economic partner for Hungary. I hope for an active collaboration between our countries and I look forward to seeing Chung-Ang University's involvement in this collaboration." In response, President Park Sang-Gue committed to actively engage in the collaboration. 




À̹ø ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐ ´ëÇ¥´ÜÀÇ Çë°¡¸® ¹æ¹®Àº ´ëÇÐ °£ÀÇ ±³·ù¸¦ ³Ñ¾î Çë°¡¸® Á¤ºÎ ÁÖ¿ä ºÎ󡤱â°ü°ú ³×Æ®¿öÅ©¸¦ ±¸ÃàÇÏ°í, ´Ù¾çÇÑ ºÐ¾ßÀÇ Çù·Â ¹æ¾ÈÀ» ¸ð»öÇÑ ÀÇ¹Ì ÀÖ´Â ½Ã°£À̾ú´Ù´Â Æò°¡´Ù. ¾ÕÀ¸·Îµµ ¿ì¸® ´ëÇÐÀº Çë°¡¸® ÁÖ¿ä ±â°ü, ÀڸŠ´ëÇÐ µî°úÀÇ °ü°è¸¦ ¹ßÀü½ÃÅ°¸ç, ¾ç ±¹°¡ÀÇ ¹ßÀüÀ» À§ÇØ Çù·ÂÇÒ °èȹÀÌ´Ù.

The visit by our university's delegation to Hungary fostered inter-university exchanges and built networks with key organizations and institutions in Hungary. The important discussions with key institutions explored collaboration opportunities in various fields. Going forward, our university plans to further develop relations with key institutions and partner universities in Hungary for the development of both nations.
