The Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), Universiti Malaya, is delighted to announce that registration for the AEI-ASEM Summer School 2024 is now open! This exciting ten-day program, themed "Global Citizenship: Embracing Diversity, Fostering Sustainability," will take place from July 29 to August 7, 2024.

The AEI-ASEM Summer School is an ongoing initiative aimed at fostering balanced mobility among students, researchers, and academics between Asia and Europe. Aligned with a decision from ASEMME 4 in May 2013, Kuala Lumpur, this program continues to contribute to international collaboration and cultural exchange between both continents.

This year's Summer School features a dynamic agenda, including lectures and insightful field trips, addressing a spectrum of topics that invite meaningful discussions and idea generation. The overarching goal is to enrich students' knowledge and comprehension of contemporary global issues, fostering creative and critical thinking in identifying optimal solutions and encouraging active participation in the pursuit of these solutions.
