중앙대학교 국제처에서는 외국인 유학생 여러분의 안정적인 학업 및 생활 적응을 지원하기 위한 심리 상담 프로그램을 ​새롭게 운영하게 되었습니다.

본 프로그램은 유학생활에서 겪을 수 있는 크고 작은 심리적 어려움에 귀 기울이고 공감하며, 필요할 경우 교내 전문 상담기관과 연계하여 한층 더 전문적인 지원을 받을 수 있도록 돕습니다.

1. 상담 대상

- 본교 재학중인 전체 학부 외국인 유학생 중:

- 학업 관련 어려움을 경험하는 학생 (예: 집중력 저하, 성적 압박, 시험 불안 등) 

- 한국에서의 유학생활 적응에 어려움을 경험하는 학생 (예: 언어 및 문화 차이, 외로움, 스트레스 등)

- 대인관계에서 어려움을 경험하는 학생 (예: 친구·교수·가족과의 갈등, 소통 문제 등)

- 심리적·신체적 증상을 경험하는 학생 (예: 불안, 우울, 무기력, 불면, 두통 등)  

- 자신의 이야기를 털어놓고 싶거나, 누군가의 공감을 원하는 학생 

2. 상담 절차

 - 상담 신청: 이메일 신청 후 담당 상담 선생님과 일정 조율

 - 상담 진행: 1:1 개별 상담(약 40분) 실시, 주요 어려움 및 필요 지원 확인

              한국어, 영어, 중국어 3개 언어 신청 가능

 - 사후 안내: 상담 결과에 따른 정기 상담 여부 확인 및 추가 상담 안내

3. 전문 상담 연계

 - 필요 시 학생처 학생생활상담센터의 전문 상담원과 연계

 - 위기 상황 발생 시 긴급 상담 및 의료기관 연계 가능

4. 신청 방법

  이메일 oia@cau.ac.kr 로 아래 양식에 따라 이메일 발송 (학기 중 수시로 신청 가능)

  이메일을 발송해주시면 3일내로 담당 선생님께서 전화드릴 예정입니다.

Dear International Students,

The Office of International Affairs is pleased to announce the launch of a Psychological Counseling Program to support your stable academic journey and successful adaptation to life in Korea .

This program aims to listen with care to the psychological challenges you may encounter during your studies abroad, provide empathetic support, and, if necessary, connect you with professional counseling services on campus for further specialized assistance.

1. Eligible Participants

- All undergraduate international students currently enrolled at Chung-Ang University who:

- Experience academic difficulties (lack of concentration, academic pressure, test anxiety, etc.)

- Face challenges in adapting to life in Korea (language and cultural differences, loneliness, stress, etc.)

- Encounter difficulties in interpersonal relationships (conflicts with friends, professors, or family)

- Experience psychological or physical symptoms (anxiety, depression, lethargy, insomnia, headaches, etc.)

- Wish to share their thoughts and feelings with someone who will listen and understand

2.  Counseling Procedure

 - Application: Send an email application and arrange a schedule with the counselor

 - Counseling: 1:1 individual counseling session (approx. 40 minutes) to identify main challenges and necessary  

                    support (Available in Korean, English, and Chinese)

 - Follow-up: Guidance on continued counseling sessions, if needed

3. Referral to Professional Counseling

 - If necessary, you may be referred to professional counselors at the University Student Counseling Center

 - In urgent cases, emergency counseling and referral to medical institutions will be provided

4. How to Apply

Please send an email to oia@cau.ac.kr using the format below (applications accepted throughout the semester).

A counselor will contact you within 3 working days after receiving your email.

We hope this program will help improve your mental well-being and support you in maintaining a stable and fulfilling academic and daily life at Chung-Ang University.

为帮助大家安心学习、积极适应韩国留学生活，中央大学国际处现正式开展全新的外国留学生心理咨询项目。

我们将认真倾听并理解各位留学生同学们在学习和生活中可能面临的各种心理困扰，给予关怀与支持，并在必要时与校内专业心理咨询机构衔接，提供更加专业的帮助。

1. 面向群体

- 目前在中央大学就读的所有本科留学生中(学籍状态为在校）：

- 在学习方面遇到困难的学生（如注意力下降、学业压力、考试焦虑等）

- 在韩国生活适应上遇到困难的学生（如语言与文化差异、孤独感、压力等）

- 在人际关系中遇到问题的学生（如与朋友、教授、家人之间的矛盾或沟通问题）

- 出现心理或身体症状的学生（如焦虑、抑郁、无力感、失眠、头痛等）

- 希望有人倾听、分享心声并得到共鸣的学生

2. 咨询流程

 - 申请：通过邮件申请，与咨询老师协调时间

 - 咨询进行：一对一个别咨询（约40分钟），了解遇到的困扰并提供需要的支持（提供韩语、英语、中文三种语言）

 - 后续指导：根据咨询结果，确认是否需要定期咨询，并提供进一步安排

3. 进一步专业咨询支持

 - 如有需要，将与校内学生生活咨询中心的专业咨询师衔接

 - 在危机情况下，可提供紧急咨询及转介至医疗机构

4. 申请方法

 按照以下格式完成邮箱并发送邮件至 oia@cau.ac.kr（学期中随时可申请）。

 收到邮件后的三个工作日内会有咨询老师与您联系。
