Please be aware of the recent announcement by the Korean government to intensify the monitoring of COVID-19 quarantine as follows.

最近韩国政府对于新冠状病毒自我隔离强化监控方式通知如下，正在自我隔离中的同学请注意。

대한민국 정부가 코로나 바이러스 감염증 해외유입 차단을 위해 자가격리자에 대한 모니터링을 강화하기로 하였습니다. 또 무단 이탈자에 대해서는 즉시 고발 조치하며 이에 따른 손해배상 청구도 한다는 방침입니다. 또한 자가격리 앱상 이탈이력이 있는 사람이나 앱 미설치자를 중심으로 사전통지 없이 이탈여부를 불시에 점검할 예정입니다. 무단이탈자는 법이 강화되면서 1000만원 이하의 벌금형이나 1년 이하의 징역형에 처해질 수 있습니다. 또 무단이탈은 즉시 고발토록 하고 방역비용 등에 대한 손해배상도 병행해 청구합니다.

The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to strengthen the monitoring of those on quarantine to prevent the infection of COVID-19. In addition, it is a policy to immediately prosecute unlawful defectors and claim compensation for the damages accordingly. Also, the government plans to inspect for any deviations without prior notice, centered on those who have a deviated on the self-diagnosis app or those who did not install the app. Unlawful deviation can result in fines of up to 10 million(KRW) or imprisonment of up to one year as the law is strengthened. In addition, any unauthorized deviation should be filed immediately, and compensation for damages, etc., will be charged at the same time.

韩国政府为了阻止新冠状病毒传染病从海外涌入，加强了对自我隔离者的监控。此外，对于擅自离开者及时举报的措施，并由此要求损害赔偿的方针，此外以擅自退出自我隔离APP或者未设置APP者为中心我们会在不事先通知的情况下随机对有无擅自退出进行检查。对擅自退出者有关法律的加强处以1000万元以下罚金或者1年以内的监禁。此外对于擅自脱离产生的及时告发和防疫费用等同时要求损害赔偿。
