At the recent Indonesia Chapter Annual Meeting, Passage to ASEAN (P2A) members convened to discuss strategies for expanding mobility programs and virtual initiatives to enhance engagement among students and staff. The discussions centered on strengthening both bilateral and multilateral relationships between member institutions. This year's key focus is to increase mobility programs, integrate internships, and create new opportunities for students. This will foster a vibrant learning environment emphasizing entrepreneurship, research, and active student participation.

The growing demand for skilled professionals in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology reflects its expanding role across industries worldwide. To address this need, BINUS University’s School of Information Systems teamed up with SAP to organize an event focused on ERP applications. Led by the SIS ERP Competence Center, the event sought to engage students in ERP technology while providing them with the necessary SAP skills for success in international business or as entrepreneurs, aligning with BINUS University’s strategic goal to develop future leaders ready to excel in the global marketplace.

BINUS University and PT TUV Nord Indonesia have formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster closer ties between academia and industry. The partnership will focus on research initiatives within the Doctoral Program in Computer Science, led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ford Lumban Gaol, with a focus on advancing digital services innovation. As part of the agreement, TUV Nord will also provide valuable internship opportunities for undergraduate Computer Science students, allowing them to develop practical skills and prepare for careers in the tech and service industries.

Gaston Marcotti, CEO of Bizaroïd, a leading French post-production company, recently shared his expertise with BINUS University’s Animation program in an exclusive masterclass. The session focused on key elements of modern film production, particularly visual effects techniques, and stressed the significance of integrating cultural and historical context when establishing brand identities. With the rapid evolution of the film industry, this event provided students with essential knowledge on production, branding, and creative innovation, enabling them to thrive in the competitive fields of animation and visual effects.

In collaboration with the Embassy of Bulgaria, BINUS University proudly hosted "Bulgaria: A Bird’s Eye View," an aerial photography exhibition by renowned Bulgarian artist Mr. Alexander Imanov. Held from November 25–29, 2024, at Anggrek Campus, the exhibition not only showcased Bulgaria’s breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage but also underscored BINUS University's commitment to global collaboration and cultural exchange, paving the way for academic partnerships and mobility programs that connect Indonesia and Bulgaria.
