Notice
on 2-Week Extension of Online Classes
Hello, CAU family. I am Professor Sang-Gue
Park, President of Chung-Ang University.
Corona-19 still has no signs of fading.
Therefore, the Ministry of Education has postponed the opening of elementary
school, middle school, high school, and university to April.
Today, the Academic Committee has decided
to extend the period of online classes for 2 more weeks. The possibility of
group infection cannot be excluded in the face-to-face class.
Due to these changes, the start date of the
face-to-face class has been changed from March 30th to April 13th.
However, due to the nature of laboratory
and practical classes, there is a limit to the delivery of class content through
online lectures, so the last day of the semester has been delayed from the
previous: June 27th; to July 10th for 2 weeks.
Nevertheless, it is still possible to adjust the last day of semester differently
depending on the schedule for each classes.
The matters related for two-week extension
of online classes will be guided by all possible channels. As a result, we ask
the CAU family to prepare for an extended 2-weeks of online class. The
university headquarters will share important issues in the future with changes
and minimize the inconvenience of professors and students. We ask for your
support and cooperation so that we can overcome this crisis together.
