[Online Class Related Course Correction Period Extension Notice]

Today (3/16), In order to smoothly conduct online classes, for the first time in history: the university has prepared by expanding servers, securing storage space using the cloud, increasing traffic, and securing software licenses. However, as the corrections for course registrations overlapped at the same time, access to the school system was not smooth, such as logging in to the portal, from 9:00 AM this day, exceeded the expected amount of access.

Even if there were no problems in accessing the system on the first day of the start of the course, it would have been a great inconvenience for the lecturers and students to experience the online classes for the first time. We apologize for the additional difficulties.

In response, the relevant departments have taken immediate action to ensure a smooth connection in the afternoon, and continuously respond to the failures by monitoring system traffic and e-Class operation status in real time.

In addition, even if it is difficult to participate in real-time class (Zoom) through e-Class, we will guide the professors on how to approach through the direct zoom link, and take measures to ensure that they can be delivered back to students.

In addition to solving system problems, we will minimize student inconvenience through the following measures.

1) Currently, it takes a day for the course registration to be reflected in the e-Class. Since the correction period is short for one week, students may not have enough time to attend classes and correct the course registration. We want to ensure students' class choices and reduce confusion by extending the course correction period from March 21^st to March 28^th .

2) In addition, even if you cannot take the 1st and 2nd week classes immediately for reasons such as course correction, we will operate with the basic principle that if you take classes until June 20^th, your attendance will be recognized.
