We are pleased to introduce a new two-week Japanese language and culture program in February at our Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC).

OIC is in Osaka, Japan’s second-largest and very lively city.

During this short program, students will study Japanese language, experience Japanese culture, and meet local Ritsumeikan students.

It is a good chance to make and study with new friends and to build international connections in a friendly campus environment.

For this program, we have reserved the OIC Seminar House, a dormitory-style residence on campus. It is a very popular facility and usually quite difficult to book.

Each room can accommodate up to four students with same gender. The program fee will include the accommodation at the OIC Seminar House, so they do not need to pay separate hotel costs, which are usually necessary for short-term programs.

We believe this is a very rare opportunity for your students. Our OIC campus is open and modern, with a Starbucks, 7-Eleven, ramen restaurant, and a casual beer restaurant on site.

Program details (for your reference):

Program period: Tuesday, February 17 – Friday, February 27, 2026 (Fixed)

Program fee: JPY 195,000 per student

Accommodation: OIC Seminar House (included in the above fee)

Minimum number of participants: The program will be offered for groups of 15 or more students

Maximum number of participants: Up to 20 students (we have reserved 5 rooms in the OIC Seminar House)

It is also well known that Japanese animation, manga, and a KAWAII pop culture are especially popular among younger generations around the world.

Living costs are relatively low compared with many other countries, and daily life in Japan is very safe and comfortable.

Many students tell us that after joining a short program, they would like to visit Japan again in the future.

Please note that the number of rooms in the OIC Seminar House is limited. If your university is interested in this program, please contact us as early as possible.
