19th Baku Summer Energy School

We are pleased to share that the registration for the 19^th Baku Summer Energy School to be held during 23 June - 4 July 2025 is open now!

BSES is an annual prestigious two-week certificate program for mid-career energy professionals working/studying the energy and environment sector who want to examine and gain a better understanding of global and Caspian energy and environmental issues and enables the participants delve into various topics, including energy and environmental issues, energy and climate diplomacy, law and economics, and the significance of the Caspian Sea and the South Caucasus in the broader context of regional and global energy dynamics. 

The BSES 2025 will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan and Aktau, Kazakhstan. The program will include a ferry trip on the Caspian Sea. 

The Baku Summer Energy School studies a wide range of issues:

• Fundamentals of Energy 
• Energy and Climate Change Law and Diplomacy
• Energy Economics
• Geopolitics of Energy
• Climate change and Energy Transition
• Renewables
• Environmental Issues
