국제처 주관 2023학년도 국제여름학기(ISP) 세션1 개막

The Opening of the International Summer Program (ISP) Session 1 for the 2023 Academic Year, Hosted by the Office of International Affairs

국제처가 주관하는 ‘2023학년도 국제여름학기(ISP)’가 28일 열린 ‘Welcoming Ceremony’를 시작으로 본격적인 막을 올렸다.

The International Summer Program (ISP) for the 2023 academic year, hosted by the Office of International Affairs, kicked off the program with a welcoming ceremony on the 28th of this month.

이번 행사는 국제여름학기에 참가하는 19개국 22개 대학에서 온 80여 명의 학생을 대상으로 진행한 것이다.

The ceremony was attended by 80 students from 22 universities, representing 19 countries from across the globe. Each of the students who attended will be participating in the International Summer Program.

다양한 해외자매대학 학생들이 이날 행사에 참여했다. 영국 York St John University, University of Leicester, 미국 Loyola University New Orleans, California State University, Stanislaus, 프랑스 ESCE, 싱가포르 Nanyang Technological University, 중국 Fudan University 등 해외 각지에서 온 참가자들이 우리 대학 재학생들과 함께 어울리며, 우리 대학에 대해 알아가는 시간을 가졌다.

Many students from our partner universities participated in the event. Attendees included representatives from York St John University, the University of Leicester in the UK, Loyola University New Orleans, California State University, Stanislaus in the USA, ESCE in France, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Fudan University in China, and more. The representatives mingled with our university students, getting to know our campus and university better.

국제여름학기는 다양한 국가의 학생들이 우리나라 문화에 대해 공부하며, 우리 대학 캠퍼스 내에서 활발하게 교류할 수 있는 장을 마련해주는 프로그램이다. 우리 대학 재학생들도 국제여름학기를 통해 영어로 된 수업을 들으며 다양한 외국 학생들과 교류할 수 있다.

Our International Summer Program provides an opportunity for students from various countries to study Korean culture and engage in exchange programming within our university campus. Our university students also have the chance to take English-taught courses and interact with students from across the globe during the program.

국제여름학기는 세션1과 세션2로 구성돼 있다. 지난달 28일부터 21일까지 세션1이 진행되며, 다음달 1일부터 18일까지는 세션2가 진행된다.

The International Summer Program is split into two sessions. Session 1 began on the 28th of last month and ran until the 21st of this month. Session 2 is scheduled to take place from the 1st to the 18th of next month.

이번 세션1에 참여하는 학생들은 한 달 동안 남산N타워 관람, 경복궁 한복체험, 국립중앙박물관 관람, 두산베어스 야구관람, K-Pop 댄스레슨 등 다양한 문화체험을 통해 우리나라를 경험할 예정이다.
