3-week academic summer schools equivalent to 20 UK credits, with discounted-fee places for students from current exchange partners and EDI scholarships for students from under-represented backgrounds.  

The Birmingham International Summer School 2025 re-launch edition has been designed particularly with our partners' students in mind. It offers four exciting academic topics during the day, and a cultural and social activities in the evening and weekends.

The 2025 BISS edition will welcome a varied cohort of students from around the world. Students can be sure to make friends from around the world while supporting their academic studies. 

Students from current exchange partners attend with a tuition-fee waiver. We have also created EDI scholarships to support your students from underrepresented backgrounds. 

Students from current exchange partners benefit from a tuition-fee waiver, representing a 25% discount on the full fee. 

Partners may nominate students from under-represented backgrounds to benefit from an EDI Scholarship representing a further 25% discount.

Four Academic Schools available in summer 2025: British Cultural Heritage, Economics, Film & Media, and Biomedical Science, Clinical Care, and Population Health. 

In February 2025, students and partners can join our weekly Zoom sessions on Wednesdays 15:00 (UK time) and on Mondays 09:00 (UK time)
