Student application round

• Application round: 28 January 2025 at 12:00 CEST – 3 April 2025 at 23:59 CEST.
• Students must fill out an online application through www.cbs.dk/summer.

Teaching period 2025

• 2-week courses (2.5 ECTS): 23 June – 04 July 2025.
• 3-week courses (7.5 ECTS): 23 June – 10 July 2025.
• 6-week courses (7.5 ECTS): 23 June – 25 July 2025.

The exam period is visible under “Exams” in the menu on cbs.dk/summer.

NB! Students cannot combine a 3-week or 2-week course with any other course type. Only one may be selected. However, students can combine up to two 6-week courses, making 15 ECTS in total.

• We offer both bachelor and graduate courses within classic business disciplines, but also combined with courses in more diverse disciplines.

Exchange partners: Nomination deadline and procedures

• Nomination deadline: 20 February, 2025.
• Student who are nominated by our partner universities under the exchange agreements can participate on a non-tuition exchange basis.
• We count nominated exchange students under the ratio 2:1. For example: two nominated students to CBS Summer counts as one regular semester place regardless of the number of courses and type the student take; in general, we ask nominated exchange students to take two courses at CBS Summer to get 15 ECTS points in total unless they take one short 3-week course or one short 2-week course, and you are fine with it.
• Complete the nomination form and return it to summer@cbs.dk
• You are free to choose if you send students to a regular semester or to our CBS Summer University. Students nominated to CBS Summer 2025 are counted into the exchange balance for the academic year 2024/2025. If you have used all exchange places for the academic year 2024/2025, your students are welcome to join CBS Summer as fee-paying students. Housing

• Accommodation will be offered to all international students.
• Link to the application for housing will be sent to students by email in April.
• Move-in dates: 20 June 2025 at 12:00 noon (CET) at the earliest.
• Move-out date: 3 August 2025 at 12:00 noon (CET) at the latest.
• Housing must be financed by the student.

Arrival service

• There will be arrival and airport pickup arranged.

Social programme

• The social programme will be available to all international students at the CBS Summer University. It includes a welcoming meet-up reception, guided tours of Copenhagen, Danish folk dancing, a cultural day trip somewhere in Denmark, comedy nights, and much more. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to get to know each other, Copenhagen, and Danish culture in general. The social programme for 2025 will be announced in the spring.

Introduction sessions

• 23 June 2025. The official welcome. Students will receive important information about different aspects of CBS Summer, such as studying at CBS, courses, exams, library resources, where to get help, and so on.

Visa application process

• Some students who come to Denmark to participate in our CBS Summer University will have to apply for a short-term Schengen visa for the duration of the programme. Since students are going to study in Denmark for less than three months, they will not get a student visa. Students can check the Danish immigration Service homepage (https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB) to see whether they need to apply for a short-term visa. Students, who need to apply for a short-term visa should apply at the Danish Embassy or Consulate in their home country as early as possible once they have received their letter of acceptance from the CBS Summer University. It can take up to three months to get a visa.
