국제처 국제교류팀, 카자흐스탄-홍콩 명문교 학생 초청 입학설명회 개최

Office of International Affairs holds Admission Information Session for students from prestigious schools in Kazakhstan and Hong Kong

우리 대학 국제처 국제교류팀이 카자흐스탄과 홍콩 명문학교의 학생·교원들을 서울캠퍼스로 초청해 입학설명회를 진행했다. 

Chung-Ang University’s Office of International Affairs (OIA) invited students and faculty members from prestigious schools in Kazakhstan and Hong Kong to our Seoul campus for an admission information session.

13일 카자흐스탄 갤럭시 국제학교(Galaxy International School), 16일 홍콩 HKCT(Hong kong College of Technology) 구성원들이 연이어 우리 대학을 찾았다. 

On the 13th of this month, members from Galaxy International School in Kazakhstan visited CAU. Afterwards, members from Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) visited our university on the 16th of this month.

우리 대학을 방문한 갤럭시 국제학교와 HKCT 구성원들은 우리 대학의 교육환경을 견학하고, 외국인전형에 지원하기 위해 필요한 자격요건과 절차 관련 설명들을 듣는 시간을 가졌다. 학생 개개인의 소질과 적성에 맞는 학과들이 소개된 데 이어 국제교류팀 입시 담당자와 진학상담을 하는 기회도 제공됐다. 

During their visit to our university, members from Galaxy International School and HKCT had the opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art facilities, learn about the qualification requirements and procedures for international admissions, and ask questions directly to our staff. Each visiting student was introduced individually to our faculty from specific departments based on their interests, abilities, and aptitudes. Admissions officers from the Office of International Affairs also answered any additional questions the students had in consultation sessions.

국제교류팀 관계자는 “세계 최저 수준을 기록 중인 출산율, 급격한 학령인구 감소 현상에 선제 대응하기 위해 설명회 자리를 마련했다”며, “이번 방문을 계기로 다양한 국적을 지닌 우수 학생들을 유치할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 우리 대학의 우수한 교육과정과 환경을 전 세계에 널리 홍보할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다. 

An official from the OIA stated, "We organized this information session in response to the world's record-low birth rates and the rapid decline in the population. We aim to proactively address these challenges. Through this visit, we hope to attract outstanding students from across the globe. We will make efforts to widely promote our university's excellent educational environment and curriculum to the world."
