우리 대학 국제처 국제교류팀이 9일 서울다솜관광고등학교를 방문해 학부 외국인전형 입학설명회를 개최했다.
CAU’s Office of International Affairs team held an undergraduate international admissions information session at Seoul Dasom Tourism High School on the 9th of this month.
서울다솜관광고는 서울 종로구에 위치한 고등학교 학력인정 다문화 공립 대안고등학교다. 다문화 학생이거나 외국인 학생인 경우에만 입학할 수 있어 향후 우리 대학 외국인전형의 문을 두드릴 학생들이 많다.
Seoul Dasom Tourism High School is an international public alternative high school located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Only multicultural or foreign students are eligible to attend the high school, many of whom are interested in applying to CAU for globally focused higher education.
이날 설명회는 ▲진학담당교사 면담 ▲홍보 동영상 시청 ▲외국인전형 입학설명회 및 질의응답 ▲기념사진 촬영 ▲교감 면담 순으로 진행됐다.
During the information session, various activities were conducted, including ▲individual consultations with college counselors, ▲watching promotional videos, ▲an international admissions information session with Q&A, ▲ commemorative photo taking, and ▲meetings with vice principals.
국제교류팀은 입학설명회와 Q&A 세션을 포함한 ONE-STOP 정보 공유 서비스를 통해 학생들에게 입학에 필요한 자세한 정보를 전달했다. 학생들이 궁금해하는 질문들에 대해 현장에서 답변하는 시간도 가졌다.
The Office of International Affairs team provided detailed information about admissions through a one-stop information-sharing service. The service included an admissions information session and a Q&A session where the staff answered any additional questions that students were curious about on-site.
이번 설명회에는 진학교사들은 물론 러시아·베트남·중국 등 다양한 국적을 지닌 외국인 학생들이 참여했다. 우리 대학에 대한 높은 관심을 다시 한번 확인하는 계기가 됐단 평가다.
The information session was attended by college counselor teachers and foreign students from countries including Russia, Vietnam, and China. Overall, Seoul Dasom Tourism High School’s visit reaffirmed the high level of interest in our university.
현재 국제교류팀은 서울다솜관광고의 사례처럼 찾아가는 입학설명회를 시행하는 데 더해 매달 정기 외국인 학생 대상 설명회를 개최하고 있다. 앞으로도 국내 고교에 재학하는 우수 외국인 학생들을 위해 정기적으로 설명회를 진행해 우리 대학에 대한 입학 정보를 상세히 제공하고, 실제 입학으로 유도할 계획이다.
Currently, the Office of International Affairs team conducts admission information sessions for visiting schools like Seoul Dasom Tourism High School. Our team also holds information sessions specifically for foreign students every month. Moving forward, our plan is to continue conducting admission sessions on a regular basis to provide detailed admission information to outstanding foreign students studying in domestic high schools and to actively encourage them to apply for admission.
