헝가리 오부다 대학(Óbuda University) 대표단이 우리 대학과의 협력 방안을 논의하기 위해 서울캠퍼스를 방문했다. 

A delegation from Óbuda University in Hungary visited our university's Seoul campus to discuss collaboration opportunities.

12일 오전 11시 레벤테 코바치(Levente Kovács) 총장을 필두로 한 오부다 대학 대표단이 박상규 총장과 권형일 국제처장, 신중범 국제교류팀장 등과 201관(본관) 3층 혁신전략회의실에서 미팅을 진행했다. 

이번 미팅은 지난해 12월 박상규 총장이 헝가리를 방문해 주요 6개 대학과 체결한 양해각서 및 학생교류 협정(MOU)을 한층 더 진전시키기 위해 마련된 것이다. 당시 박 총장은 헝가리 문화혁신부를 방문해 6개 대학 총장단과 만나 교환학생 파견, 우수 대학원 인재를 위한 장학혜택 등을 골자로 하는 협정을 체결한 바 있다. 

This meeting was organized to further advance the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and student exchange agreements that President Park Sang-gue signed with six major universities in Hungary during his visit to the country in December of last year. During the visit, President Park signed agreements focused on exchange programming and providing scholarship opportunities for outstanding graduate students.

이날 행사는 ▲박상규 총장 인사말 ▲오부다 대학 총장 답사 ▲우리 대학 홍보영상 시청 ▲양 기관 협력 현황 소개 ▲담화 ▲기념사진 촬영 ▲기념품 증정 ▲캠퍼스 투어 순서로 진행됐다. 

The events of the meeting proceeded in the following order: ▲Greetings from President Park Sang-gue ▲Meeting with the President of Óbuda University ▲Watching promotional videos of our university ▲Review of the current collaboration status between the two institutions ▲ General discussions ▲Commemorative photo taking ▲Presentation of souvenirs ▲Campus tour.

미팅을 통해 우리 대학과 오부다 대학은 상호 학교 소개와 더불어 지난 협정을 토대로 진행된 교류 내용에 대해 공유하는 시간을 가졌다. 앞으로 진행될 교류 방안들에 대해서도 함께 논의했다. 

During the meeting, CAU and Óbuda University shared information about their respective institutions and discussed the progress of previous agreements and exchanges. They also discussed future plans for collaboration.

이어 우리 대학 서울캠퍼스를 둘러보는 캠퍼스 투어 시간을 갖는 것으로 이날 방문 행사는 모두 마무리 됐다. 

Afterwards, a tour of CAU’s Seoul campus concluded the events of the day.

레벤테 코바치 총장은 “우리 대학은 현재 컴퓨터 엔지니어 분야에 강점을 갖고 있다. 학생교류뿐만이 아니라 연구 관련 협력도 했으면 좋겠다. 실질적인 교류를 통해 서로 발전하는 모습을 보이게 되길 기대한다”고 했다.

박상규 총장은 “앞으로 진행될 헝가리와의 교류를 통해 발생할 미래 변화들에 대해 많은 기대를 하고 있다. 더 폭 넓은 협력이 진행되길 바라며 상호발전 방안 논의를 위해 올해 7월 헝가리를 방문할 예정”이라고 말했다. 

President Park Sang-gue stated, "I have high expectations for the future changes that will arise through our ongoing exchanges with Hungary. Hoping for even broader cooperation, I am planning to visit Hungary in July this year to discuss mutual development strategies."
