外国人留学生国民健康保险制度变更通知（2022.03.01起）
2021.3.1.부터 외국인 유학생도 국민건강보험에 의무가입 적용됩니다. 국민건강보험과 관련한 내용을 공지하오니 자세한 내용은 첨부파일을 확인하시기 바랍니다

유학생 국민건강보험료 고지는 기본적으로 고지서 발송(외국인등록 상의 주소지)을 통해 진행되나,
가입대상자 유학생들의 편리한 건강보험료 납부를 위해 전자고지서 수령 및 자동 이체 납부 신청이
가능합니다.

自2021年3月1日起外国留学生也可以加入国民健康保险。关于国民健康保险的具体内容请参考附件。

留学生国民健康保险费用通知原则上通过通知书形式发放（登陆证上记载的地址），为方便留学生加入者缴纳健康保险费可以申请电子通知书和自动转账。

International students staying in Korea are subject to a mandatory subscription to National health insurance from March 1, 2021. For further information about National health insurance please refer to the attached file.

The National
health insurance service bill for international students is generally mailed to
the address stated on alien registration. However, International students may
opt for electronic billing and automatic payments.
You may
apply to set up automatic transfer payments through the attached files. The
documents include electronic notice receipt, automatic transfer payment guide
and application sample form.
제도 변경 전(2021년 3월 1일 이전) 에는 유학생 스스로가 사보험을 개인적으로 가입하여 각종 사고에 대비해야 했습니다.
그러나 2021년도 3월 1일 부터는 D-2 비자를 소지하고 출입국에서 외국인등록증(RC) 고유번호를 취득한 모든 유학생은 자동적으로 대한민국 국민과 동등하게 국가에서 운영하는 국민건강보험에 가입되게 의무화되었습니다.
그리고 미가입 시 비자연장 등 체류허가 신청 시 불이익이 발생할 수도 있습니다.
더하여 대한민국 국민도 큰 재난과 사고를 대비하여 국민건강보험과 별개로 각자 선호에 따라 복수의 사적 보험을 가입하고 있습니다.
이러한 사정을 잘 이해하시어 2021년도 3월 1일부터 변경되어 적용되는 대한민국 유학생 보험제도 운영에 잘 협조하여 주시기 바랍니다.
制度变更前（2021年3月1日前），留学生需要个人参加保险保障各种事故疾病的事后赔付。
2021.3.1日起D-2签证持有者于外国人登入证签发日（外国人登录证号码生成日）与韩国国民一同列为义务性自动加入韩国国民保险对象。未加入国民保险的留学生将在延签及滞留资格上产生限制。
另外，包括韩国国民在内，国民保险赔付范围以外的，保障重大灾难及事故的赔付可考虑个人情况添加其它保险。
请仔细阅览相关材料积极了解留学生国民保险配合参保制度。
Before this change(Before Mar 21th,2021), international students
had to personally purchase their insurance and prepare themselves for potential
accidents or injuries.
However, from March 1st, 2021, all
international students with D-2 visas who are given ARC numbers by the
Immigration Office are automatically subject to mandatory subscription of the
National Health Insurance Service, provided by the Korean government.
If international students do not pay their
fee for the National Health Insurance Service, they will face disadvantages,
specifically restrictions on immigration applications such as visa extension,
etc.
Furthermore, international students should
consider that Korean nationals also purchase multiple insurances in addition to
the National Health Insurance Service, to ensure that they are fully covered in
case of national disasters or accidents.
Please make sure you have a comprehensive
understanding of the above information, and we would appreciate your full
cooperation and kind understanding regarding this change in the national
insurance policy.
