We are happy to announce that the
registration to INRTU Summer School has started,
We would be more than happy to invite your
undergraduate students to participate in our
Sustainable Development and Climate Change
Summer School, which will take place from
22 August, 2022 – 11 September, 2022.
The academic program of the School consists
of a block of thematic lectures, discussions and
a Russian-in-use course. At the thematic
lectures, participants consider
the issue of sustainable development and
climate change from diverse aspects: historical, geographical, geological,
environmental, cultural and socio-economic.
A number of lectures / practical work is
devoted to Lake Baikal, its origin,
ecosystem and climate. The program also aims to contribute to the Baikal region
nature
protection and to make a personal
impact by caring for nature and preserving it.
The Russian language course consists of 36
academic hours.
The total number of contact hours is 72,
classes are held on weekdays for 4-6 academic hours per day.
The Summer School will be represented by
expert lecturers from Irkutsk, Russian and foreign universities.
The criteria for the Summer School
participants are:
1. Proficiency in English, not lower than
B1
2. Good academic performance
3. Motivation to care for nature
4. Communication skills
5. Positive thinking and desire to contribute
by caring for the nature
Application deadline: 15 April, 2022.
Study mode: face-to-face.
