Hello from Mainz!

The year is coming to an end, so in today´s newsletter we would like to look back on our very successful, first ‘International German Language School 2021 (Online)’ and share experiences of our participants.

We welcomed our participants from all over the world online in Mainz and took them on a virtual city tour before the intensive language course started. Our team used a variety of online tools such as BigBlueButton, Moodle and Padlet to make the learning experience similar to a face-to-face experience, even at distance and we succeeded! After two weeks of intensive German language learning, our participants created great final presentations and dialogues and were able to impress us with their development.

We are incredibly happy! So were the participants:

• Thank you so much for this wonderful German course.

• I have learned a lot of authentic expressions in German language. 

• I really enjoyed the summer school because I learned so much!  

• I also got to know a lot of people who are very friendly and open.

• I liked the course very much. We improved our grammar and learned new grammar points. We also learned new vocabulary on everyday topics that we discussed in class. We also spoke a lot of German, both in class and in the open meeting place. 

We are delighted to announce the next Summer School! From August 02 to August 30, 2022 the second International German language School will take place, this time in presence.
