Although social distancing guidelines have
been eased to the first phase, the Seoul metropolitan area is still subject to
quarantine rules equivalent to the second phase. CAU will maintain its focus on
keeping the 'CAU family health first' principle that has been the priority
since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak and will continue to implement
classes in a safe environment. Consequently, CAU headquarters decided today
(October 13th) to remain at 'Phase 2' for the next eight weeks of the fall
semester.
In accordance with Phase 2, all classes other
than laboratory and practical subjects will be conducted online. However, some
face-to-face classes may be allowed depending on the situation for the graduate
school classes. We ask students participating in face-to-face classes to also
follow the infection prevention procedures, including properly wearing face
masks at all times, to help the classes proceed in a safe manner.
