Since its inception in 2009, the International Summer School of Renmin University of China (RUC) has been an important initiative to promote the internationalization of talents cultivation. The International Summer School is usually held in July every year. During the International Summer School, RUC invites outstanding teachers from universities at home and abroad to provide full English courses for RUC students. Meanwhile, students from other universities worldwide can also take the courses. 

RUC International Summer School is committed to offering multicultural and multidisciplinary learning for students, promoting students’ understanding of different countries and cultures, and cultivating their international perspective and cross-cultural communication skills. 

2023 International Summer School will return to our campus from online teaching, but some of the courses will be taught online due to the former arrangement of the instructors. Duration

2023 RUC International Summer School will last from July 3 to July 21. Courses are usually taught at 8:00-11:30 or 14:00-17:30 or 18:00-21:30 (GMT+8) with one class every other day. 8 classes (16 classes for language courses) in total for each course.

Registration and Tuition Fee：

The registration fee is 800 RMB.

For university-level partner universities, Renmin will waive tuition fees for 2 of your students.The two students just need to pay registration fee of 800 RMB. For other students, the registration fee is 800 yuan and the tuition fee is 11000 yuan in April and 12000 yuan in May for them to select 1-2 courses. And one more course needs additional 2000 yuan. The fees should be paid before selecting courses

Nomination :

1. Please kindly note that the special offer is applicable only for the students recommended in the attached formal nomination sheet by the partner University International Office to us prior to May 1, 2023 via email to zhangrui_1228@163.com.

2. Applicants need to register in the online system before you nominate them to us. The RUC ISS Student Code is generated after students finish registration. Only with your nomination and students' registration information, could we find the exact students in the online system and change their tuition fees before they could proceed with course selection. Without nomination, your students could not enjoy the waived tuition.

Nomination deadline : May 1.

Application : Paper documents are not needed.
